This Privacy Policy explains how Shiny Jets LLC ("Shiny Jets," "we," "us") collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when you visit shinyjets.com (the "Site"), chat or text with us, book a call, enroll in training, or buy products. It also serves as our Notice at Collection under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA").

We use sensitive personal information only for purposes the CCPA permits (such as providing the services you request and keeping them secure). We do not use it to infer characteristics about you. Because of this, the CCPA does not require a "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" link.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. Our training is for adults (18+).
2. Cookies, pixels, and third-party tools on our Site

- Our customer relationship management system (Shiny Jets CRM) and online course platform (Thinkific), for course access and customer service.
3. "Sale" and "sharing" of personal information
We do not sell personal information for money. We do allow Google, Meta, TikTok, and Klaviyo to collect identifiers, internet activity, and commercial information through cookies and pixels. They use it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising and measurement. Under the CCPA this is "sharing," and it may count as a "sale." In the past 12 months we have sold or shared these categories: identifiers, commercial information, internet or network activity, approximate geolocation, and inferences. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

Global Privacy Control (GPC): If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing for that browser and device. If we can link the browser to your account, we apply the request to the account too.
4. Chat, text, and communications recording
Our Site uses the Podium chat widget, which is operated by Podium on our behalf. When you use chat, Podium receives and stores the messages you type, your name and phone number if you give them, and related technical data, and our team may follow up by text. By using the chat you consent to this collection and storage. Please do not enter payment card numbers or other sensitive information in chat. We do not use session-replay tools that record your keystrokes or mouse movements on the Site.
5. Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your phone number and agree to receive texts, you consent to receive recurring marketing and informational text messages from Shiny Jets at that number, which may be sent with automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-messaging opt-in data with third parties for their marketing.
6. Your California privacy rights
California residents have the right to:
- Know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, its sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to.
- Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We use it only for permitted purposes (see Section 1).
- Non-discrimination. We will not deny goods or services, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised your rights.

Verification: For requests to know, delete, or correct, we verify your identity by matching information you give us (such as your email, phone, and a recent order or enrollment) with our records. Opt-out requests do not require verification.
Authorized agents: An authorized agent may submit a request for you with your signed permission. We may ask you to confirm your identity directly.
Response timing: We confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. If we need more time, we can extend once by up to 45 more days and will tell you.
Shine the Light (Cal. Civ. Code 1798.83): We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing as defined by that law.

8. Do Not Track
Browsers' "Do Not Track" signals have no common standard, so we do not respond to them. We do honor Global Privacy Control as described in Section 3. Third parties listed in Section 2 may collect information about your online activities over time and across websites.
9. International visitors
We are based in the United States, and your information is processed there. If you are in the EEA or UK, we process your information to perform our contract with you, to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests, or with your consent for marketing cookies. You may request access, correction, deletion, or portability, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. Changes
We review this policy at least every 12 months. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
