This Privacy Policy describes how Shiny Jets, LLC ("Shiny Jets," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit shinyjets.com (the "Site"), enroll in training, or purchase products from us.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, company name, and payment information when you enroll in a course or place an order. If you contact us for support, we collect whatever you include in that message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site we collect your IP address, browser type and version, device information, time zone, referring pages, the pages and products you view, search terms, and how you interact with the Site. This is collected through cookies, pixels, tags, and log files.

Enrollment information. If you enroll in in-person training we also collect information needed to arrange airport access and instruction, including the signed ramp access release and attendance records.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Our training is offered to adults only.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information to process enrollments and orders, deliver course access, schedule and conduct training, arrange airport access, ship products, provide customer support, send order and enrollment confirmations, screen orders for fraud, comply with legal obligations, and — where you have not opted out — send marketing about our courses and products.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders and payments.

Payment and financing providers, including Shopify Payments and any buy-now-pay-later provider you choose at checkout, such as Shop Pay Installments or Klarna. These providers receive the information needed to process and, where applicable, underwrite your payment, and they handle that information under their own privacy policies.

Google Analytics and Google Ads, for site analytics and advertising measurement and targeting.

Meta, through the Meta pixel, for advertising measurement and targeting.

Shopify Email, which sends our marketing and transactional email.

Our customer relationship management system, which we operate to manage enrollments, student records, and communications.

Our online course platform, which hosts course content and manages your login.

Shipping carriers, for physical product delivery.

Professional advisors and authorities, where required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion; to request correction; to opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use advertising cookies and pixels from Google and Meta. Under California law this constitutes "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though we receive no money for it. You may opt out at any time using the "Do not sell or share my personal information" link on our Site, or by emailing us at the address below. We also honor Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser.

Categories of personal information we have disclosed or shared in the past twelve months: identifiers such as name, email, phone number and IP address; commercial information such as purchase and enrollment history; and internet activity such as browsing and interaction data.

We do not have actual knowledge that we share or sell the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

To exercise any of these rights, email sales@shinyjets.com. We will verify your identity before responding, typically by confirming details associated with your account or order. You may use an authorized agent, in which case we may ask for proof of authorization.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AND VISITORS

If you contact or purchase from us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process your information to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in operating and marketing our business. You may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your information by emailing us, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

RETENTION

We retain enrollment, order, and training records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax, accounting, and certification-verification obligations. Marketing contact information is retained until you unsubscribe. Certification records are retained indefinitely so we can verify credentials on request.

We use cookies that are necessary for the Site to function, cookies that help us understand how the Site is used, and advertising cookies from Google and Meta. Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can block or delete them through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Site from working.

SECURITY

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

CHANGES

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
