Why did we build a 3-day aircraft detailing training?
Because most working detailers cannot take a full week off. The most common reply to the 5-Day Masterclass was "I want this, but I can't take a week off work."
That is not a money problem. It is a logistics problem: flights, hotel and five days away from your business. So we took the same hands-on training on real jets and fit it into a weekend.
What does the 3-day aircraft detailing training cover?
Day 1 is interior, Day 2 is exterior and paint, and Day 3 is brightwork, protection and the final practical. Every station is inspected before you move on.
- Day 1, interior: maintenance cleaning, leather conditioning, seat belts, stitching and carpet extraction done the right way.
- Day 2, exterior: aircraft wash, paint decontamination, paint restoration and de-ice boot servicing with multiple product systems.
- Day 3, finish: brightwork polishing, aircraft protection products, ceramic coating application and the final practical.
The class splits into two groups that rotate at lunch, so you spend your time working, not watching. You also go home with written standard operating procedures for the services you learned.
How is the 3-day training different from the 5-day masterclass?
The 3-Day is all hands-on technique. The 5-Day Masterclass adds four afternoon business setup sessions, suede cleaning, window polishing and lifetime access to the Shiny Jets online course.

How big is the class?
Ten students maximum, with two instructors and additional support staff. Small by design, because good training needs eyes on your work, not a crowd watching a demo.
How much does the 3-day training cost?
$4,995, with catered lunches all three days. Hotels are 3–5 miles from Chino Airport, and we send the full list when you register.
The 5-Day is $6,995 through the October class and $7,500 starting with the November class, so the 3-Day costs $2,505 less starting in November ($2,000 less through October).
Is the 3-day training held to the same standard as the 5-day?
Yes. The Station Sign-Off Card, the final practical and the instructor inspection standard are identical to the 5-Day program. The work was inspected, the standard was met and the sign-offs were earned. It is private training, not an FAA credential.
